VMNexus Audio is a local-first high-resolution music player. Your data stays on your device and under your control.

No account required

VMNexus Audio does not require an account or sign-in. We do not collect your name, email, or identity to use the app.

Your music stays yours

Your audio files and your NAS (network) library are accessed directly from your device or your own server. They are never uploaded to us or to any cloud we control.

NAS credentials

If you connect to a NAS (SMB) server, the address and credentials you enter are stored encrypted in the Apple Keychain on your device only. They are never transmitted to us.

Metadata, artwork and lyrics

To display album art, artist information, and lyrics, VMNexus Audio may send a track's title, artist, and album name to third-party music-metadata services. No personal identity is attached to these requests, and we do not store the results on any server. Each service has its own privacy policy.

Subscriptions

VMNexus Audio Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. All payment is handled by Apple; we never receive or store your payment details.

Diagnostics & analytics

VMNexus Audio does not collect or transmit diagnostics, analytics, or usage data. Nothing leaves your device for these purposes.

No selling, no ads, no tracking

We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or use cross-app tracking.
